Notes	Ali's Pond Local Nature Reserve was established by local resident Alastair Driver on Sonning Parish Council land in March 1997 following an ecological survey of the parish. The project was conceived, designed and managed by Alastair with the support of the parish council and various grant-giving organisations. The Friends of Ali's Pond group, consisting mainly of local residents, meets regularly to work on conservation tasks at the reserve. The Jubilee tree was planted at the end of an old hedgerow which has recently been re-laid and replanted.
